The Project Management System (PMS) has been installed to help organize volunteers. This system allows the creation of projects, tasks, and notes, and the assignment of tasks to people.

PMS Access

To access the PMS click: HERE

  1. Now on the login page click Forgot? and enter the same email which you have used to register on main web page. Password for access to PMS will be sent to you by email.
  2. Login in to PMS and under the Preferences tab setup your own password.
  3. To view and join/leave PMS projects go to the List of Projects.
  4. Now you should see all projects of which you are a member under Projects tab in PMS window.
  5. You are able to see detailed information about projects, take on tasks, and create new tasks.

Sample Workflow

Here's an example of how it can work, based on an actual recent task:

  1. A project manager created the "Serbian Translations" project
  2. A volunteer sent translations for the forum categories
  3. The person who received them marked the translation task as done, and created a task assigned to the forum admin to add the forum categories
  4. The forum admin created the categories and marked the task as done
  5. The forum admin added a new task, "Pick a moderator," and assigned it to the project manager

Email Gateway

You can send tasks to the system by sending email to: zeitgeistpm at gmail.com (address disguised for spam protection). The subject of the message will become the task title. If you include a line with a project name, the task will be assigned to the project. For example:

Subject: Test Task
Project: Wiki
This is a test task for the wiki project

If your email address matches the one you use to login to the system, then the task will be assigned to you.
